How To
The recipes on here are designed to help you figure out what will work well for community cooking, which involves lots of people contributing to and cooking a meal. To help you out, here is how I define things:
From: Where the recipe comes from. Usually a book, but sometimes a good friend or random stranger.
Serves: How many people the recipe feeds. But, keep in mind a serving is on the small side usually.
Difficulty: From start to finish, how easy (or difficult) it is to prep the recipe
People In The Kitchen: How many people you can easily involve in food prep
Cost: The estimated cost of ingredients
Prep Time: How long it takes to prepare (not cook) the recipe, both by yourself and with helpers
Cook Time: How long it takes to cook the recipe
Sides: Sides are important. I’ll put my recommendations here.
Dessert: Dessert is REALLY important, although usually someone else brings a premade dessert
Ingredients: Pretty. . .self explanatory
Reaction: What people thought. Because, its good to know if what you cook is any good.
Group Size: Different recipes work better for certain groups. What you pick should be in part determined by how many people are in your group, how hungry they usually are, and even how many guys or girls there are.
Group Involvement: What I have different people do during prep time.
Alterations: What I do differently when I make the recipe
If I made this again: What I will do differently the next time I make the recipe
